Roger Hefford

I did a b.sc. at vuw, worked for two years programming at progeni and then headed for Sydney in 1985.

Was in Sydney from 1985 till 1991. Doing mainframe banking development at Westpac.

Lived in Singapore from 1991 till 1993. Still doing mainframe work.

Lived in Indonesia from 1993 till 2001. Worked for PT Telekom in Bandung, Indonesia working on a human resource system. I mixed with the locals a lot and got to know Indonesian culture.

Moved to Singapore in 2001.

Looking at those old photos it is like a time warp. The world was so different then.

I have been back to Wellington once or twice but I hardly know the place.
